This production is set in early 19th century Florida, on the eve of the Seminole Wars, during the transition of the colony from Spanish to U.S. control. In St. Augustine, a convergence of cultures emerged, including Indigenous Seminoles and self-emancipating Black slaves seeking refuge under Spanish rule.

Inspired by this cultural intersection, we incorporated diamond shapes drawing inspiration from Seminole patchwork. Used as a symbolic homage to create a custom fabric for The Three Musketeers.
