Concept
The concept of this show centers on the symbolic power of the color red. In the opening scene, a red curtain transforms into a red hoodie which becomes both a source of comfort and a protective shield for an actress battling addiction, allowing her to slip into different roles as a form of escape. Throughout the story, the color red weaves through the lives of every character facing addiction, reflecting the unique objects, habits, or identities they cling to as they fight to reclaim themselves. The main character, Emma, is played by three different actors to further push the idea of her playing different roles as a form of escape.
